Wroxton
The beautiful village of Wroxton has a long and interesting history. If you have a chance to walk around the thatched cottages and wind your way past the church to the old college, you can visit the grounds where there had been an abbey until Henry VIII. After the dissolution time period, the grounds passed to Oxford and the colleges - still functioning as a college today, the abbey is part of the Fairleigh Dickenson University of New Jersey.
The duck pond and local pubs are a must to see and do too - each year one family in the village is designated to feed and look after the ducks - very Cotswolds!!
